A Whirlwind!
Wow, what a whirlwind adventure it has
been the past couple months! I started working back at my old part time
job at Baron's Country K9 in April and have been on several business
trips up north to New York. It has been crazy but a good crazy. So
having said that it is why my newsletter is going out so late.
On one of my trips I was invited by the Humane Society of Gloversville,
NY to come and do readings at their event in April. I was also able to
meet with some of my clients who I have never met before. Now we all
know New York can be cold and snowy but generally it is pretty safe to
travel there in April. Well the night before the outdoor event it snowed
and then it was pouring down rain. It was the folks whose property we
were using that allowed us to use the back warehouse for the event. It
was a lot of fun and hope to be able to go back next year and do it
again.
As I said I was able to meet with several of my clients for the first
time and their animal companions. I also got to meet with Carol, who is
the owner of Bloomingtails Dog Boutique, and her cute little furbabies.
If you notice on the Bloomingtails website her babies are modeling some
of the cutest outfits! If you haven't yet please visit her website and
check out the amazing selection she has on clothes, food and many other
items for your animal companions.

There was also the Mid-Atlantic German Shephard Rescue event at the end
of April that I attended and had a blast at. There were many donated
gift baskets and a lot of food to go around. Of course there were many
german shephards that attended the reunion also. There is one little guy
who comes to the event every year and is always mistaken for a puppy,
he's not and it is always fun to watch the reactions on people's faces
when the man with him tells them he's middle aged! Even the dog thinks
it is funny to do.
May has also been a very hectic month so far. I am heading back up to
New York again to Mechanicville for a group party. As always those are
so much fun to participate in. If you would like to get together your
friends for a great treat of messages from your animal companions please
email me and we can get something set up!
I think June will be a little less hectic for me but we are already half
way through the year and I have no idea where it went. I know many
others out there also feel the same way. And the animals they just keep
plugging along and loving us with all their heart, unconditionally.
BlueLine
K9 Dog TrainingI
I would like to introduce you to Mike
Soler. He is the owner and service provider for BlueLine K9. Mike became
one of my clients a few months ago. He had brought in two of his demo
dogs in for a reading and to help him get to the bottom of an issue he
was having with them. The reading went well and we got to the bottom of
things for him and the dogs.
I really like his service and the way that he trains the dogs first (who
by the way get it fairly quickly) and then he trains the "people" (who
often times have a problem learning new things). Mike has trained
hundreds of dogs since 2004 including 5 service dogs. He teaches dogs
and owners in group classes or with individual lessons. His
effectiveness as a trainer is not just measured by his certifications,
degrees, books, and videos, but by his results and his clients.
I would recommend anyone living in the Maryland area to get in touch
with Mike if you are having a behavior issue you just can't get a handle
on with your animal companion. Check out his website at
www.bluelinek9.net.
Seasonal
Allergies
Just a quick note to let everyone out there with an itchy pet, you are
not alone. I am finding animals with allergies that never had them
before. It is also the most sensitive ones that seem to have the most
issues. One of my dogs is having a serious allergy issue right now that
we are working with her to her from chewing herself raw. Even being on
the best foods have not helped her. So we are doing as much holistically
as we can to help her clear up. So don't worry if your dog is having a
hard time with allergies right now. It will pass soon.

Honey Bee's Everywhere
Ever wonder what a honey bee is thinking? Well I can tell you it is hard to get
them to stop long enough to tell you.
One of my housemates recently got into honey bee keeping. I don't know if you
are aware or not but the honey bees are now
decreasing in alarming numbers.
In an effort to help the bees and procure some yummy honey in exchange for a
great place to live and thrive there are now bee hives in the back yard.
Before the bees arrived my housemate discussed with them, telepathically, what
was going on with them, where they were going and that above all else she wanted
them to thrive in their new home. Still being new to animal communication she
asked me to talk with the queen and also to one of the dogs we have here.
The one dog is obsessed with bee's, flies or anything that hums and flies. So I
had a talk with him just to remind him that he was only to chase the bees and
flies near the house not the bees in the beehive out in the back yard.
I also talked with the bees to ask them to not sting anyone associated with the
house, including the dogs. Again trying to keep up with their way of
communicating was a little difficult. But I did find one bee that was able to
take the time to speak with me and he said he would relay the message.
So we will see where the summer brings us as we grow to learn more about each
other and share the living space here on Mother Earth.
